We were there at the Great Sea in July 2025. Unfortunately, we didn't see much of the "Great Sea" on the walk, and the only viewing tower is closed due to disrepair. What a shame!

The Hinte mill is the only windmill in the municipality of Hinte in the Aurich district. The building, which was constructed in 1869, was restored between 1992 and 1997 and has since been equipped with functioning mill technology. A mill at the current location at Hinter Tief was first mentioned in 1658.

Very beautiful and not overcrowded bathing and recreation area. A beautiful cycle path with many benches leads around the sea. There are information boards at various places, which are also very interesting for children.
