The Silzer See is a lake dammed by the Klingbach. It is well used for going around. You meet joggers and walkers with and without dogs. Benches invite you to take a break.

Very nicely landscaped pond with benches to enjoy the peace and quiet.

Follow the sign "Robber Baron Tour" and you will pass the lake pond, which you will almost circle around. In the summer it is certainly very nice to refresh yourself.

The lake itself is not actually for bathers, but many still cool off in the lake. There is a campsite next to the lake and there is a nicely landscaped boules court with a fountain nearby. Very nice! Half of the lake is reserved for the fishing club.

Here by the lake is a campsite where you can stay the night. From here cycling and hiking tours can be undertaken. You are actually not allowed to swim at the lake, but many do. Half of the lake is reserved for anglers. There is also a boules pitch near the lake, which is nicely laid out and has seating with a fountain.

The lake is popularly known as "Wolfgangsee" because it was rebuilt in its current form during the term of office of the long-standing and popular mayor of Erfweiler, Wolfgang Frary. Wonderful resting place to "chill out". Recreation area for the Erfweiler citizens.
