The bench and the picnic area are located directly on the watercourse. This is a really mystical place to take a break.

It is smaller than the upper bear cave. But the shower is an absolute eye-catcher.

The Hexenklamm gorge is wonderfully beautiful and easy to hike through.

Through the natural monument Elendsklamm and the beginning of the Sickinger Höhe with the pigeon head on the German premium hiking trail. Impressive gorge with a “primeval forest”, which is a unique habitat for rare animal and plant species. The path along the gorge is well developed and secured with railings, bridges and steps. When inspecting in late autumn and winter, make sure that you have weather-appropriate equipment. In midsummer the gorge offers a welcome cool hiking trail.

The Premium Trail Hexenklamm is a rather short premium hiking trail at 7.1 km. It starts at the sports field in Gersbach, a suburb of Pirmasens on the edge of the Palatinate Forest. The tour leads past breathtaking panoramic views, the rustic Stockwaldhütte, the historic bunkers of the West Wall. The highlight of the hike is the Hexenklamm. Several waterfalls flow through the narrow gorge over bizarre rock formations. Highly recommended.
