The Rodalben Tourist Association dedicated this beautiful shelter "in memory and gratitude" to the popular local priest and dean Martin Ehling (May 30, 1956 - May 17, 2014), who died suddenly and unexpectedly shortly before his 58th birthday. An information board describes the various stages of his (spiritual) work.

The hut was named in memory of the deceased local dean. According to the inscription, he died unexpectedly at the age of 58. A good opportunity for a rest.

You can take a nice break at the Teufelshütte. You can also sit on benches outside the hut. I wouldn't enter the Kneipp facility, it's a bit of an eyesore.

The Fritz-Claus-Hütte in the middle of the Palatinate Forest and in an old quarry is a must for hikers! Culinary delicacies from our own butcher's shop and from grandma's cookbook inspire just as much as home-baked cakes at coffee time. Of course you can also spend the night in the rustic hut. A total of 13 beds spread over 4 cozy rooms are located on the upper floor of the hut. This includes two spacious bathrooms with shower/toilet and daylight. Here you can take a break inside and outside. The dean was a very popular clergyman in Rodalben and must have died quite suddenly and unexpectedly. It's nice when you leave such an impression on people.

Great places to stay. Clean shared rooms. There are six double rooms in the newly built tower. Mine means you're in the hotel. All handicapped accessible.

Below a dried-up well, above a small hut at a Kneipp facility. The Teufelshütte is a sponsorship of the 1FCK fan club Grünesputsche. The name goes well with the Kneipp pool!
