Especially in summer, Lake Ohmbach is a great place for all ages. There are restaurants, boat rentals, playgrounds, a campsite and plenty of benches. A walk along the shore is about 3 kilometres long.

The Ohmbachsee invites you to visit: created in 1975, water surface area approx. 15 hectares, 1.5 km long, up to 300 meters wide, lake area designed as a park landscape, 3 ½ km circular hiking trail around the lake. With its large water surface, the Ohmbachsee is the largest contiguous water surface in the West Palatinate. The Ohmbachsee "reflects the sky like a brightly opened eye". The leisure complex is ideal for relaxing, having fun, celebrating and relaxing. (Note: swimming is not permitted). There is a water playground with a giant slide for children. There is a hotel and a campsite attached. The pedal boat rental at the water playground (free for Pfalzcard guests for half an hour) is open from April to October. The project "Sculptures at Ohmbachsee" by the artist LILAU was realized around the Ohmbachsee in 2015/2016/2018. Tip: The romantic lake festival on the 3rd weekend in July - a great event for the whole family.
