After about 100 steps, you have climbed the viewing platform and enjoy from here a great view of Hunsrück, Taunus and the Middle Rhine Valley. Since the tower has a roof, you can endure it here even in the rain.
The eponymous half-timbered town is located on the left bank of the Rhine, the forested top of the Bacharacher head is located northeast of Assmannshausen and is 342 m high, the highest point of the district.
Elevation with interesting rock areas. Unfortunately only to be circled on paths. The summit itself is not very attractive; no special prospects either.
