Bernburg Castle is the ruin of a medieval castle on the northern outskirts of Rottweil in the Rottweil district of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The castle was first mentioned at the beginning of the 13th century. It belonged to the Lords of Bernburg. It was destroyed in 1417. The former castle complex was divided into three parts: a front, middle, and rear castle. Only scant remains of the outer bailey and a tower of the front castle survive. Castle has broken off. Only a memorial with an explanatory plaque there. The stamp is super hidden:)

The plaque is the special thing. Otherwise it's more of a pile of stones. There's not much left there. And it's not that easy to climb up there either. But it must have been a great complex with 3 castle units, separated by lifting bridges.
