It's always a beautiful, idyllic destination, especially popular in summer. The ice cream van occasionally stops by. There's a large parking lot, as well as several seating areas and a sandy swimming area. The campsite is located directly behind it.

In summer it's probably a good way to cool down your feet and, if you like, your whole body and mind :-).

This small rest bench above Heinersdorf is highly recommended, as it offers a wonderful view from Kuhberg over the Göltzschtal Bridge and Reichenbach to Ebersbrunn.

The old postal column with the distances in hours is in a somewhat awkward position on top of the slope by the field, but it is very well preserved. The modern counterpart for hikers below is also interesting.

Heinersdorf has a very nice community center with the Rollbockbahn Museum. An information board provides information about the history of the railway in this area.

Electoral Saxon total milepost No. 60. Manufactured in 1725 and in 1980 a leftover piece from the original location, about 500m away, was moved or supplemented here in front of the Black Cat, and re-inscribed in 2020. It shows the distances to Reichenbach, as well as Kirchberg and Schneeberg on two sides.

A really pretty bathing pond with a small bathing beach and a large sunbathing area. For campers there is a campsite in the immediate vicinity.
