A very well-maintained path runs alongside the railway line. It leads through open countryside with wide fields. Especially beautiful when the rapeseed is in bright yellow bloom.

Located right next to the castle. The town prison used to be here; now it's a museum. The B3 highway runs through the gate here.

Odenheim town center

Beautiful old walls - the beer in the beautiful courtyard tastes great too!

Odenheim's town hall is a solid sandstone building from 1903 with a painted facade. The town also boasts numerous historic half-timbered buildings and various small monuments such as wayside crosses, sculptures, and fountains.

The well-preserved castle is an essential part of the historic old town, perched on a hill. And we felt the same way as @Scout Jens: the view from below of the castle and old town had a certain promise and was the most beautiful view.
