There is a nice little bench there that invites you to linger. However, you don't get a view because it is overgrown all around.

The view may be possible in winter. You can't see anything from here in July. However, if you continue along the ridge path in a southeasterly direction, there are a few places where you can see the Salzgitteraner Land through the trees.
