A really great starting point for day hikes or bike tours. Lots of hiking tips already on the board at the house. A huge parking lot with barbecue facilities.

Station on the Schafberg Panorama Trail with several information boards on the subject of grape varieties. There is also a barbecue area here.

Barbecue area at the “Hexehüsli” with table furniture and barbecue area with grate. The barbecue area is part of the Schafberg Panorama Trail in Efringen-Kirchen. There are three information boards providing information about different grape varieties. The water reservoir with a viewing platform right next to it, as well as the hut, are now (as of October 2023) cordoned off due to frequent vandalism. The associated keys can be borrowed from the municipal administration.

The Weihermatthütte can be reached in 15 minutes from the Rechtberger Hof or Cafe Hyge. From there you come across the spell forest to Hexxenbrünnli and further to Hohen Strasse. You can grout at the hut.
