A great church 👍

The Protestant Christ Church in Haßfurt was built in 1899. It is a striking building on Heideloffplatz and dominates the cityscape. The parish is known for its diverse musical offerings, including trombone and flute choirs and children's choirs. Services and concerts are held regularly in the church. In 2024, the parish celebrated the 125th anniversary of its church.

The Knights Chapel is one of the most popular places of worship in the region.

The old Cistercian monastery of Mariaburghausen is located in Lower Franconia on the south bank of the Main River. The monastery is 1.6 km from Haßfurt and offers a glimpse of Gothic monastic architecture. A two-story, late medieval round tower with adjoining masonry of the former city fortifications. Southeast of it lies the protected harbor, built in 1962 as part of the expansion of the Main River into a "European Waterway."
