The cycle path runs mainly on water-bound paths, with occasional longer sections being asphalted. The surface is in good condition and is very easy to ride on.

The gatekeepers at the Nabburg Gate guarded the entrance to the city. The upper floors of the towers housed detention cells, comparable to today's sobering-up cells.
