From Clausthal-Zellerfeld to Altenau you roll nicely downhill. There was a lot of traffic in the weekday afternoons, so I didn't want to have to drive uphill. Asphalt is great, no potholes etc., rolls great.

Coming from Dammhaus there is a gentle incline, but on the quiet uphill road the cars have enough space to overtake.

In terms of surface and traffic, a good alternative to the stretch of road in the Innerstetal. The scenery is also more beautiful and the descent to Wolfshagen is 1a👌

After a long climb, you can enjoy a great descent here. On Sundays there is a lot of traffic, which is not so much fun.
