The Berggasthof Kreuzhaus is located in the middle of the Bavarian Forest and is therefore a great place to stop for a hike. You can stop here all year round. The Green Roof Cycle Path crosses the old Lock Bridge and becomes the Danube-Regen Cycle Path. The surrounding area is highly recommended and extremely beautiful. The name "Green Roof Cycle Path" is telling, but I didn't know that this cycle path extends so far north. Traditional mountain festival of the Bavarian Forest Association with the Denkzell am Gallner fire brigade. At 10 a.m. mountain mass, followed by a mountain festival with delicacies and brass band music.

Very well located for a short rest. Price-performance still top.
