The Pröller is the local mountain of the climatic health resort and winter sports area St. Englmar. Here you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Bavarian Forest from the summit.
From the highest elevation of the Kaitersberg at 1,132 meters, you have a fantastic panorama to all sides. The peak of the Great Riedelstein is decorated in 1909 for the hometown poet Maximilian Schmidt erected monument.
The Kreuzfelsen is 999 meters high and part of the elongated Kaitersberg. On the rocky summit is a huge summit cross including summit book. From here you have a very good view of Bad Kötzting and the front Bavarian Forest.
At the top of the 973-meter-high cheese platter, besides the breathtaking view, an unusual sight awaits you: the summit is littered with huge boulders - clearly an extraordinary mountain for the Bavarian Forest.
The summit of the Predigtstuhl is densely forested, but a cozy sitting area with table awaits you, where you can take a first break. With fresh energy, it then goes on the wide ridge path in the direction of Hirschenstein.
