The Siebensteinkopf (1263 m) is a mountain on the southeastern edge of the Bavarian Forest National Park on the border with the Czech Republic. In the north lies the Stráž (1308 m), which is already in the Czech Republic. Not far away, the Finsterau/Bučina border crossing offers hikers, cyclists and cross-country skiers the opportunity to get to the Bohemian Forest all year round, although you have to carry your ID with you. At the summit there is a wooden summit cross with a modest view, a little below are scattered seven rocks that gave the mountain its name. Several hiking trails lead to the Siebensteinkopf, all of which start in Finsterau and lead, for example, via the Reschbachklause (small lake) or via the Teufelsklause to the summit.

I went right from Gfallen, very nice path up to the lake and to the chapel and ascent to the summit, descent on gravel path is not so great.
