The summit cross is located on the rocky section of the Alpspitz. From here, there is a wonderful view. On the back of the cross is a beautiful plaque depicting Mary with Child. On the front, there is a container with the summit register. Today, on my way down to the west, I even spotted some chamois below the Alpspitz.

The waterfall and the waterfall path are simply great

Beautiful alp. Can be reached from Kappel either via the Höllschlucht or the forest path. The latter is also a well-prepared winter hiking trail that is often used for tobogganing. The start of both paths is the small parking lot at the Höllschlucht climbing forest or a larger one at the entrance to Kappel. (coming from Nesselwang)

When the hut is closed you can take your drink from the fridge. Thank you!!!

A really nice path is the waterfall path and at the largest fall there is an almost never-ending 😂 staircase going up on the side 👍

If you don't mind climbing the stairs, this is the place for you. The stairs never seem to end. Very exhausting.... especially in summer
