The restaurants serving Swabian or Bavarian cuisine were closed until 5:00 p.m. It's a shame I had expected more. On the way back to Kirchheim, we came across several beer gardens that were open.

A picturesque old town with many small alleys to explore. A marketplace with a wonderful atmosphere, it's a pleasure to linger there. The fountain with the Marian column in the center of the square is a central meeting point and a beautiful addition to the atmosphere. The market square in Günzburg is definitely worth a visit! It is one of the most beautiful market squares in Swabia and impresses with its historic charm. The baroque town hall with its striking facade is a real eye-catcher and the landmark of the market square. It's worth it!
