Explore the many facets of this river, from its source at the foot of the Nockberge to its mouth in the Drava. The name comes from pre-Roman times (Corcoras). There is a nice barbecue area here with plenty of seating.

Very worthwhile circular hike starting with the Pisweg. Parking lot on the state road under the church. Paths are mostly forest or hiking trails. No food on the way, drinks are to be taken with you.

The imposing cathedral church in Gurk is a high Romanesque pillar basilica built between 1140 and 1200 and is one of the most important Romanesque buildings in Austria. Tip: Definitely visit the interior and the crypt!
