Beautiful section of the Isar cycle path, but very crowded when the weather is good near Landshut. The path is well paved and can be used with any type of bike. Numerous benches invite you to linger and allow great views of the Isar. Walking on the embankment, the sand and gravel banks is not advisable, as all kinds of birds nest here (embankment) and the rapidly changing water level can block the way back.
