Many paths are purely sidewalks. Then it's time to push your bike or use the parallel paths. They are usually just a stone's throw away and you are not only doing yourself a favor, but also pedestrians, children and four-legged friends. And because you can boast about your knowledge while cycling: the Würm is around 39.5 kilometers long and is the only outlet of Lake Starnberg. Some of the Würm water even reaches the Isar and Moosach via the northern Munich canal system.
