There are usually many waterfowl on and around Lake Bachtel, especially swans. With a bit of luck, you might even spot a beaver.

The landscape at Bachtelsee is very beautiful and there are countless swans. Canada and Egyptian geese are often there too. There are beautiful viewpoints and every now and then a beaver can be observed, but its tracks can definitely be seen.
