Very nice section of this route on the Würm, through a wonderful landscape. Simply cycle in a relaxed manner and capture the beautiful perspectives of nature. Moderate climbs and smaller descents make this tour an experience.

Without komoot, it's easy to miss the signs in some tricky parts of the route. From Pasing it goes beautifully north past the Blutenburg to Allach. It goes south to Starnberg. From Gauting there is an alternative, more family-friendly route via Gut Rieden: https://www.munichways.de/starnberg-routen/

The water wheel in the Würm near Lochham always fascinates me. I find the many photos of it fascinating. The Würm, especially in the upper reaches between Lake Starnberg and Munich, is highly recommended for walks and bike tours. You can also find many hidden places there if you try to stay very close to the river. (Unfortunately without my own photos.)

At the bathing spots near Stegen, the Ammersee also offers shallow spots in the bay.

When the mountains show themselves (e.g. in foehn weather) - then it is a gigantic sight here! Today it was that time again 🌤

Great that the weather is still so beautiful in December that a bike tour was possible. The boathouses and the view of the Alps is simply indescribable.

6월 28, 2020, Pasinger Stadtpark
The Pasinger Stadtpark is a park in the south of the Munich district of Pasing. It is called Stadt-Park, because at the time of its foundation in 1929, this park was still the park of the city of Pasing, which was then independent - that is, before it was incorporated on April 1, 1938. The forerunner of the city park is the park that King Maximilian I had built around Planegger Strasse, at the corner of Gräfstrasse 1815, around his country house, the Prinz-Carl-Schlösschen, predecessor of today's Gatterburg Castle. In 1929 the Passionist Order of the Parish Church of the Nativity Park and Gatterburg took over and in the city administration of the then still independent city of Pasing, the two streets Gatterburgstrasse and Gatterburgsche Allee crossing the park were lifted. To compensate for this, the city of Pasing was overwritten in large parts of the park - this is when the city park was born. The park was then expanded five years later. Due to the abandonment of the former paper mill, an expansion took place in 2004. The Pasing city park begins at the city limits of Lochham, runs along the forest colony of the architect Louis Ende, which was modeled on the villa colonies of August Exter, and ends after about 1.5 kilometers at the Pasing district hospital. The park has an area of almost 20 hectares and extends on both sides of the Würm. The old parish church of the Nativity connects the city park with the monastery garden. Similar to its “big brother”, the Englischer Garten in Munich, the Pasinger Stadtpark is designed as a landscape garden: wide meadows alternate with groups of trees and the worm is artificially dammed up into several small lakes. The Pasinger Stadtpark is a monument (D-1-62-000-5156) and is located in the landscape protection area Würmniederung with extensions up to the city limits (LSG-00120.19). In the south, the Paul-Diehl-Park follows in the area of the municipality of Gräfelfing.
