Great view of the impressive buildings

An impressive number of skyscrapers from the Main can be seen here

There should be something for everyone between the picturesque old town with its many shops, the iconic basilica with its well-kept monastery garden and the banks of the Main with the ferry to Bavaria.

The view of the skyline is awesome

From this side of the Main you have a wonderful view of the Frankfurt skyline. The extensive meadows invite you to take an evening break with wine.

Just stop and have a look. Most of the time, the Mainufer-Weg is so crowded with pedestrians that you can't get through it quickly ;-)

With a view of the impressive skyline, the residents of Frankfurt and their guests can walk, jog or cycle for miles along the riverbank.

The Westhafen was opened in 1886 and is a former inland port. The counterpart to this is the Osthafen in Ostend. Wikipedia writes..... The harbor mole (Karpfenweg) is now built up to the river crayfish bridge with twelve individual seven-storey residential buildings. Some of them stand on stilts in the water and have their own boat docks. The Westhafen Tower, a glazed high-rise office building with a circular floor plan, has stood at the eastern entrance since 2003. It was one of the first buildings to be completed at the former west port. At 109 meters, the Westhafen Tower is one of the smaller Frankfurt skyscrapers. Because of its diamond-shaped facade, the people of Frankfurt also refer to it as the largest Ebbel wine glass in the world, or "Geripptes". On the western side of the bank section, just before the Main-Neckar Bridge, further office buildings (Torhaus, Westhafen Pier, etc.) were built in front of Mainova's western combined heat and power plant on Gutleutstrasse by 2004. The listed pressure water plant is also located here, the last historical building of the former port facilities. It is part of the Rhein-Main Industrial Heritage Route.
