Definitely a highlight of my circuit! A wonderful vantage point not only because of its elevation, but also because of the stylishly designed memorial site for the excavated villages and the memorial to the closed open-cast mines. There's also a small rest hut for a break. So don't miss this place!

A beautifully designed viewing point. Not only does it offer a great view, it also reminds us of the villages that had to make way for open-cast mining. Relics of the Meuro open-cast mine can also be viewed.

The pier in Klein Räschen is something very special. It consists of the 95-meter-long boom of the A2Rs-12500.95 stacker. In other words, part of a former open-cast mining machine. From the bridge you have a great view of the lake, but also of the vineyard on the shore and the small harbor.
