The horse carousel is “ancient”, after a long period of inactivity (damaged in the war), it has been turning again since 2016.

In memory of the fact that a long time ago (1897) an “imperial maneuver” took place here, the “guard soldiers” were set up. In the summer, various events are also held at the “Wartbaum”:

Mighty Tree. According to the plaque it is only 400 years old. Looks pretty battered.

The facility is great. To my knowledge, however, financed by selling soldiers to the English for the war against the Americans. The café was located in the middle part. It was the most expensive café in Hanau with the smallest pieces of cake. But it was nice!

A very beautiful park that is easy to reach for a shady walk in summer, or at the moment for a colorful autumn mood. As a rule, there is not too much going on, so you can relax and take a short walk even during Corona.
