A great place for a break, with 2 tables and several benches under a roof overhang, so even in mixed weather it's ideal to get your food out of your backpack.

Great little castle which you can discover on the way through on the A3 near the Rohrbrunn rest area on the edge of the forest

The Oberaulenbach moated castle in the Renaissance style is located in the Spessart Nature Park not far from the Unteraulenbach district of the Eschau market. Unfortunately, you can't get all the way to it...private property...fenced

A somewhat arduous climb up the stairs leads to the remains of the walls of the former castle. Good information boards give information about the history and the probable appearance. A rest area is also available here.
