Nice view from the summit cross The Petersberg is also a "fabulous" mountain. There are some legends; so among others the legend of the treasure in Petersberg and the legend of the underground passage from the church St. Kilian in Marktbergel to Petersberg In the high Middle Ages he became more and more the focus of witch superstition. Against this superstition, the church had a chapel built on the hilltop around 1350. It had two turrets and was dedicated to the two strongest apostles Peter and Paul. There is a flyer about the route with a riddle and a competition at the very beginning of the adventure trail (podium) near the sports field. We followed the yellow witch and thought it was great!

There is also a summit cross on the Petersberg. At the top there is an information board and right next to it there is a box where the summit book is kept. Otherwise, there are always seating or resting places on the entire adventure trail and even two hammocks at Summ Stein. The adventure trail is divided into the "yellow witch" and the "blue witch". Yellow goes up to the Petersberg and is 3.5 km long. It includes, among other things. the hedge tunnel, the animal pavilion, the summit cross and the humming stone. The blue witch leads us on a barrier-free approx. 900 meter long path (+ way back). Here you can find out something about the landscape on the Petersberg.

Heckentunnel, Wetterstation, Summstein).
