The Aueweiher pond is located in the Fulda-Aue recreation area, just minutes from the city center. Surrounded by meadows, walking paths, and ancient trees, it offers ideal conditions for relaxing, strolling, or picnicking.

It is a beautiful and extremely flat running route around the Haunestausee.

Beautifully planted perennials and flowerbeds between small ponds and the floodplain landscape, parallel to the river. Very nice for a short walk. Benches on the bank with a beautiful view of the sparkling water.

The Haune Dam of the Haune Water Association is a small dam and reservoir and at the same time a flood retention basin on the Haune near the village of Marbach in the eastern Hessian district of Fulda and belongs to the catchment area of the Weser source river Fulda.
