A really cool idea and a very welcome refreshment on the ascent or descent from the Wasserkuppe.

On the Hochrhöner hiking trail on the descent from the Wasserkuppe in the direction of Milseburg is this ingenious rest area with drinks cooled by rock spring water. Checkout is based on trust. A great idea for all thirsty hikers.

A beautiful house with a hotel and a great view of the northern part of the Rhön. You can also rent e-bikes there.
