Kingussie‬에서 가장 멋진 ‪20‬개의 호수

I was impressed by the beauty of this small lake, nestled behind the hills just north of Kingussie. The gravel path north of the lake is smooth and easy to ride on a gravel bike. During the Grinduro event in 2025, there was a speed-measuring track here, but I stopped regularly to enjoy the beautiful view.

We were able to try on our wetsuits for a swim in peace and quiet. Eating at the restaurant was disappointing: plenty of free seats, peak season, but they couldn't do anything for us at 7:00 PM other than provide us with some cold sandwiches to take away.

Quiet location, great panorama, water sports available, beautiful paths all around - what more could you want?

We stopped here on our hike and were unfortunately disappointed by both the accommodation (main building, in need of complete renovation!) and the restaurant (we didn't get any food because we, as hikers, arrived 30 minutes later than we had reserved)
