The museum, newly established in 1997, displays a variety of interesting exhibits. Visitors gain detailed insights into the history of Jüchsen. Some finds are the result of years of archaeological research into the prehistoric settlement of Widderstatt (dating back to 8000 BC). The well-written text and the selection of exhibits make the visit a unique experience for all history buffs. The equestrian club Behrungen Riding and Driving Club 1990 e.V. is based here. There are stables and riding lessons available. The club regularly hosts tournaments.

Below the church stands a magnificent half-timbered house with ornate corner beams. It's great that something like this has been preserved, respect. 👌🏻

Now somewhat dated, cracks have been filled with tar. However, this doesn't detract from the route's appeal.

Jewish cemeteries were located far outside of towns and villages because Jewish communities had long struggled to acquire land and were often only provided with unsuitable or unused land.
