Untertorturm은 14세기 중반에 지어졌으며 중세 Bad Camberg 성벽의 일부입니다. Untertor 자체와 도시로의 접근을 확보했던 견고한 외부 성벽은 보존되지 않았습니다. With the addition of a timber-framed upper story for the watchman, a steep hipped roof, and a small bell tower, the 33-meter-high tower acquired its present appearance in 1630. The four-story tower is the only completely preserved structure of the former city wall dating from 1385.

It's also worth climbing up to the observation deck. The view is even better. Plus, the pyramid-shaped seating offers a fantastic view without any distracting parapet. This is a special highlight, and not just for little ones.
