The High Moor is highly recommended and interesting 👍🏼. Beautiful hiking trails 💚 can be found here, offering fantastic views of the moor and the surrounding nature. It's absolutely stunning here; the sun 🌞 should be shining 🌄, then everything is reflected beautifully.

The Hohe Moor near Stade is a raised bog that is around 5,000 years old. After a mining phase lasting around 130 years between 1830 and the 1960s, the moor was renaturalized and rewetted over an area of around 653 hectares between 2001 and 2006. The nature reserve extends beyond the actual rewetting areas and has an area of 862 hectares including the edge areas. Today it consists of a mosaic of open water areas, wet meadows, peat moss lawns and moor forest.

Very nice rest area on the edge of the Frankenmoor, which can only be circumnavigated on the wide farm roads.

Quiet, beautiful resting place with a roof and an interesting information board about the Frankenmoor. In the direction of Bargstedt, the dirt road to the right is the nicer option, because the path is paved shortly afterwards and leads over a small avenue with old trees.

If you want to take the RR to the Hagener Mühle ..., it is possible. But you have to overcome approx. 50m middle cobblestone, 100m coarse cobblestone (you can avoid the edge) and around 300m smooth cobblestone. Before and after but to drive quite well.

Wonderful place, especially in spring, when you can soak up the sun here. I have landed here for the fourth time on various tours and have only now taken the time to look at the information board. It's worth it.

The circular route around the lake is approx. 4-5 km long. You always have a beautiful view of the lake. There are several opportunities for children to do gymnastics on equipment. In summer there is also the opportunity to swim. There is some beach. Pedal boating is also possible.
