At least four archaeological cultures can be found on the Spitzberg, located between Landsberg and Hohenthurm. The Baalberg culture group is the chronologically first and was found within the burial mound (3,800 and 3,400 BC). A porphyry dome near Landsberg. At the very top is a barrow, which has been used by different cultures over the past 5000 years. On the north side is a small quarry pond followed by a small enchanted forest. To the south a dry grassland landscape which is tended by sheep. And another small quarry.
