Don’t assume because the EV8 aligns with the ferry route that you’ll be able to find it. This port has dozens of ferries and we were directed to a car ferry that terminates in Pirama. The passenger only ferry may not take your bike. If you end up biking into Athens from Pirama be prepared for the first few miles of bad traffic on dual carriageway.

Small cross-roofed church of the 13th century, which was located outside the medieval settlement of Ampelaki. It is also built with ancient building material, coming from the ruins of the Ancient City of the Classical period, as can be seen from the floral tombstones that adorn the perimeter of the church, as well as the tomb column that is placed in its courtyard. Unfortunately it has been added to in recent times.
