The regional gourmet café is a gem amidst the beautiful landscape along the Apple Road. For 25 years, the Apfelschlössl has combined many things in one: a coffee house, a meeting place for friendly people, a wellness oasis, a place to taste regional products, and much more. More than 20 years ago, the idea was to create a place for a lively club life with a savings club, tennis club, ice hockey club, and, of course, the volunteer fire department, where people could meet, exchange ideas, and spend quality time together. So, the then captain of the Prebuch fire department had the idea of building a coffee house next to the fire station. Many other people from the region then joined this project. Whether through personal work or financial donations, everyone contributed – and the café finally opened in 2000. Admission is free. Parking is available directly in front of the Klangdom. It looks a bit run-down from the inside, but that doesn't detract from the impressive and unique acoustics. Recommend a quick stop.

Nice mountain that is easy to walk in winter. For the last piece you may need Grödel with ice cream. Great views in several directions. At the top the paths are a bit confusing, with barriers - but you can find your way around.

When climbing up, the last third part of the route is quite steep, at the top of the circular route the route is fenced off, so we missed the given direction of the Way of the Cross a bit and had to go over a Climb over with barbed wire and locked gate. The descent afterwards over a very beautiful piece of mixed forest to walk on. Be sure to stop at the Gasthaus Windhaber (very good food and friendly) about 4 hours. hiked. On a journey through more than 4000 years, Styrian prehistory comes to life in ten primeval huts (reconstructions) populated by “primeval people”.
