8월 16, 2025, Alte Karte von Bubach und Bubacher Bach
The map is supposed to show the route to the 700-year-old Napoleon Oak https://www.komoot.com/de-de/highlight/1163536, but unfortunately it's not north-oriented. The Napoleon Oak is located to the south, while the Schinderhannes Cycle Path (former railway line) is to the north, exactly the opposite of what is shown on the "map." The paths to the oak tree no longer exist. Only a path, which is currently (August 2025) destroyed by forestry work. The "Bubacher Bach" shown is officially called the Ebschieder Bach, which first flows into the Dudenrother Bach, which then flows into the Grundbach, and only then flows through Bubach.

4월 11, 2022, Motte Braunshorn
A mediaeval moth that cannot be precisely dated rises up to 4.5 m on a fenced private property. It is regarded as the ancestral seat of the Freiherren von Braunshorn. It is not known when the castle was abandoned. In 1787 foundation walls were still visible, which in 1857 were hardly recognizable. Castle and grounds are not accessible! In the Frankweiler Forest, numerous burial mounds and grave gardens have been preserved in a protected location, while the traces of former burial sites on the surrounding fields are heavily worn away by the plow and are hardly noticeable. The group of burial mounds in the Frankweiler Forest near Karrenweg was first mentioned in a find report in 1936 and has repeatedly been the target of robbery excavations. There are a total of 12 burial mounds, including three strikingly large mounds with a diameter between 27 m and 34 m. The burial mounds are located south of the cart path. In 2002 there was a scientific investigation of a burial mound. The central burial turned out to be destroyed by a robbery excavation. A subsequent burial was brought into the burial mound, a ceramic vessel from the 1st century AD, filled with corpse fire. The burial mound itself may well be much older and was built in Celtic times. The burial mound is the typical burial form of the Hunsrück-Eifel culture. The decor of the dead is modest and fairly uniform: the men have their lances with an iron tip with them, the women are provided with various kinds of ring jewelry. 8월 29, 2019, St. Erasmus Church Ebschied
Even before 1592 stood a chapel of Catholic origin in their place. This was from 1592 Lutheran, until it was returned in 1688 to the old Roman church. In the years 1722 and 1757 it was repaired. In 1783/84 the complete renovation of the small baroque chapel took place. Santa Erasmus consecrated. In 1951, the chapel was given a sacristian construction. The baroque interior with high altar, pulpit, ceiling decoration and benches remained almost unchanged despite several renovations. Only with the conversion 1960 removed the old mechanism. In 1999/2000, the chapel was rebuilt inside and brought closer to its original appearance. A new high altar is now in the church, whose inauguration on 10.04.2011 was celebrated.
