The castle park and the small castle are a real highlight in Neckarbischofsheim. There's also the pentagonal tower to admire, and there's also a small swimming pool. It's worth a visit, if only for the superb ice cream in the castle park.

The castle park was purchased by the municipality and laid out in its current form between 1982 and 1988.

Built in swampy terrain since 1274. In the following century, around 1368, the castle was expanded with the addition of the palace that still exists today. The castle became the property of the city in 1975. Since 1990, civil weddings have been held in the Knights' Hall.

In the heart of Gemmingen, between the castle courtyard and Wiesenstrasse, is the old stately castle park, which was acquired and renovated by the municipality of Gemmingen in the 1980s. The idea behind it was English gardening. The center of the site today is the castle park pond, which is fed by its own spring, the Murrbach, and mainly by an old pipe from the Losterbach spring. Adjacent to the northern bank is an octagonal wooden pavilion. There are various events, concerts, children's performances and also an open-air cinema. Every two years, the park festival takes place across the entire area, organized by Gemmingen and Stebbach clubs. Not far from the pavilion, on the edge of the path, you will come across a bronze group, the Gänseliesel. It was donated by a Gemmingen citizen. There is also an old war memorial in a clearing in the trees. The castle park is now the green heart of the municipality and is an integral part of community life. (Source: Heilbronnerland.de)

In 1612 the town church was inaugurated. The tower was built in 1543 and belonged to the Marienkapelle, which used to stand on the site of the town church. The north side of the Marienkapelle was drawn into the nave of the town church. The beautifully articulated Renaissance gable and the three portals give the church a special charm even from the outside. On the gable of the church above the main portal is a life-size figure of Christ blessing the world.

Quote from the owner family von Göler: "Ravensburg Castle, the associated wedding chapel and the marked paths and areas are purely private property. Taking photographs (wedding pictures, photo shoots and the like) on our premises is subject to a fee and is only permitted with our prior written permission - for inquiries about this, please contact us well in advance. In the event of violations, we reserve the right to exercise our house rules accordingly. Outside of our restaurant opening hours (Wednesdays to Sundays), the outer castle courtyard is available for visitors to view. During restaurant opening hours, the inner castle courtyard can also be viewed - after dark there is no access. Please note that a tour of the castle's exterior is not possible or only possible to a limited extent depending on the booking situation/event planning or due to maintenance measures. For safety reasons, it is no longer possible to visit the keep until further notice. The Göler family, the owners, expressly point this out." There is an explanatory piece from the local history association for both the town hall and Alexanderburg: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hm058E-xoiY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUj48mu0yh0
