The Neckar offers some of these wonderful Neckar loops, which make the Neckartal cycle path opposite the Rhine cycle path very varied and change the direction of travel so that you are illuminated from a different side or there is a change in shadow

HISTORICAL HERITAGE The first finds indicate that the Lauffen river area was already inhabited in 500 BC. The Romans arrived around 85 AD. A Roman estate (“Villa rustica”) was excavated high above the Neckar in 1978. Beautifully developed bike path in summer, always in the shade and right at "eye level" with the Neckar.

Nice way, always busy here. A bell is recommended for racing cyclists, otherwise you will be hoarse after 5 kilometers ;-)

Very nice, well-developed cycle path along the Neckar. A large part of the path runs in the shade of large trees, it is asphalted throughout.

Bad Wimpfen is an absolute highlight among the towns along the Neckar, you shouldn't miss it! The historic city offers many romantic corners, winding streets and countless picturesque half-timbered facades. Cafes and restaurants throughout the city center invite you to take a break. If you have the opportunity, you should definitely visit the Christmas market, it is legendary.
