Unfortunately, the boat trips, as Günter K. described, are no longer available. We often went with our children and later with our grandchildren to go pedal boating or rowing – sadly, this was discontinued about 1.5 years ago. The boats are gone – one less attraction – what a shame.

Two palaces weren't enough for Ludwigsburg: "Monrepos," French for "My Peace," was the fitting name for this small but exquisite lakeside palace. It is a true Rococo masterpiece, built under Duke Carl Eugen between 1758 and 1764.

I've been here countless times; this palace is comparable to Solitude Palace; one was built in the neoclassical style and the other in the Rococo style. Unfortunately, I know next to nothing about art, but that doesn't matter; I've already visited both palaces. 😄👍🙋
