The Wiesbüttsee and the Wiesbüttmoor directly behind it are a true natural idyll. The lake and especially the moor provide a habitat for many rare animals and plants. The lake was once artificially created and served to aerate and drain the silver, copper and lead mines in the area. The high moor is under nature protection. There is a campsite at the lake – maybe you pitch your tent here?
