Take a quick detour to Waldheim Town Hall. This imposing building with its striking facade is a real eye-catcher. Located directly on the banks of the Zschopau River, the surrounding area also invites you to take a short break. Perfect for catching your breath before moving on.

A Romanesque hall church at its core. A high, pointed turret. The choir was separated during renovations. Inside, a baptismal font made of Rochlitz porphyry and a standing angel baptismal font in the gallery.

Coming from Erlenbach or Falkenhain, the route initially goes slightly downhill. Past the former Lochmühle, after a bridge, it climbs briefly at 10%. Before the bend, it levels out again slightly before rising to 15-17% after the bend until you come out of the forest. After that, it flattens out a bit before rising to 10% shortly before entering Ehrenberg. Always sprint on the last stretch to the village entrance.
