The old town of Treysa is very compact, but offers numerous sights, most notably the Church of the Dead.

The Winterplatz is dominated by the former brewery, an 18th-century timber-framed building that was converted into a residence in 1921. The ground floor now houses the town library and the wedding chamber. The lion on the fountain is a replica of the old market fountain lion, which holds the Grünberg coat of arms rider. Directly on the slope stands a small stone house dating from 1582.
