The ring wall system is located between the districts of Reichenbach, Niederems and Wüstems, all of which belong to the municipality of Waldems. This castle was built either in Celtic times or in the early Middle Ages. In 910 AD it was given to the Georgsstift in Limburg together with the Camberg farm. 150 years ago the remains of the ramparts were still visible - now they are hardly recognizable.
