The Kitzingen Old Main Bridge is one of the six medieval Main Bridges in Lower Franconia. The bridge was first mentioned in documents in 1300 when it replaced a ferry. The painter's angle house sits picturesquely on the creek wall of the Breitbach. The oldest parts of the current building were probably built in the early 17th century and it got its current appearance towards the end of the 18th century. For a long time it was a business building for the cloth trade and later for spices. Today it houses a museum.
