Kungsberget: the first lift up the mountain was built in 1954, but enthusiasts are said to have been skiing down Kungsberget long before that. Kungsberget was for a long time jointly owned by Gävle and Sandviken municipality, and then completely owned by Sandviken municipality. In 2004, it was the Branäs group that acquired the plant. The Branäs Group also includes the facility Branäs Fritidscenter, which is Sweden's fourth largest facility.

On the Hocklaslingan trail you can find this new shelter to rest a bit, immersed in nature.

Jädraås Hytta and Smedja from 1856 were named industrial memory of the year in 2020. Worth a visit to experience real cultural history. The cabin is open for its own hike all “train Sundays” at 11.00 – 16.00. Info signs are available. The forge is open for its own hiking every day.
