The Ruins of Quinta de São Cibrão, located near Vila Nova de Foz Côa, are a little-known site steeped in history and mystery. Although there isn't much detailed information about these ruins in official sources, they are known to be part of the rural and archaeological landscape of the Upper Douro region, close to other historical sites such as Castelo Melhor and Freixo de Numão.

Located directly on the Douro River, Quinta de São Cibrão is a place name in the municipality of Escalhão, in the municipality of Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, in the northern district of Guarda in Portugal. It is located approximately 3.5 km east of Barca d'Alva. The village has since become a lost place.

Romanesque-style church built in the 13th century with several carved wooden altars, some covered in gold.
