Beautiful lake and on the southern shore you can also go swimming. BUT signs warn against doing it! Still, some refuse to be dissuaded.

The Padersee between Paderborn and Schloß Neuhaus offers many opportunities for walks and activities (playground, sports, café). The path around it is a good kilometer long.
